The Apple Doesn't Fall Far . . .

Robbie and I both have hilarious stories of sleep talking. Once when I was saying my prayers half-asleep I told God: "Sweet dreams, goodnight". (Which I'm sure he appreciated.) Once Robbie told me where the gold was hidden. We're lunatics when we sleep. It's a fact.

Little Jacob doesn't really talk. He does some baby sign language and can say "Uh-Oh" and "Mommy". Occasionally he says "Daddy" and once in a while "dog" or "tree". So it was just too funny when I heard him talking in the sleep a few nights ago. We were driving from Pittsburgh back to Chicago and I thought Jacob had woken up when I heard him say "Uh-Oh". I looked back in the baby-view mirror to see him sound asleep: "Uh-Oh" . . . snore, heaving breathing . . . "Mommy, mommy".

This boy comes by this sleep talking honestly. I can't wait to hear what else he has to say!

I'm going to come spend the night so that I can hear what the three of you have to say while you're all fast asleep! Too funny Sarah.
