Two Items of Note:

1) On Sunday our little family went on a walk. It was a great day outside so there were tons of bikers and joggers. Nothing out of the ordinary . . . until I passed a jogger with bare feet. Completely bare. Not those fake rubber feet shoes - bare feet. What the? Seriously? Is that a thing? It's freaking me out.

2) Robbie and I were watching Bachelorette (yep), and they were on this date in Thailand. They were boating through all these beautiful, picturesque mountains and Robbie says: "Hey, those look like the Hallelujah Mountains from Avatar." No, Robbie, they look like regular old mountains from planet Earth. Soo nerdy. But I love him anyway. (I hope he loves me anyway, too, even though I'm a total turd and posted this on the internet.)

PS Robbie just made me put the link to the Avatar mountains, too. Just saying . . .

Hahaha, I miss you guys! Robbie cracks me up :) And I'm so glad you admitted to watching the Bachelorette because I do too. Ahhh, feels good to finally get that out there!

Jon wears the rubber shoes and loves them. He wants to run a marathon in completely bare feet someday. Crazy, I know. I agree with you :)

i read recently that working out barefoot strengthens your feet and can help out with muscle aches, knee, and back problems. I took that to mean run barefoot on your treadmill or something...

I am all for a strong foot, but on a city sidewalk? You are totally going to run through hobo pee and dried up dog poo, and that's a fact. You gotta weigh the pro's and con's :)
