Oh My Gosh

We had to change our plan for insurance . . . again . . . which now makes it a bazillion times. So I had to go to this office and do some paperwork and stuff. I had an appointment for 9:30am, but after an ill-timed feeding and a huge spit-up, we made it there at 9:50am.

The woman on the phone told me all the things I needed to bring with me - except Jacob's vaccination records. I know that sounds like I'm just making excuses: "Um, I didn't know I was suppose to bring that" (in a dumb, dumb voice), but seriously, she didn't tell me. I would have brought them.

But just then I remembered that I did have a little vaccination booklet in my diaper bag from my last appointment. I looked and looked and couldn't find it. Ugh. It disappeared. No luck. We will have to go back with the information later and we only half filled out our forms. Whatever. Everything takes 10,000 years and is super complicated.

Then we go home, Jacob takes a nap for 30 minutes and wakes up hating life. Nothing makes him happy. He screams for quite awhile and then, eventually, we are able to get back to normal. He decides he actually loves life and we start playing and he is laughing and laughing and having the best time. We are sitting on the floor, he's on my lap, when he wiggles and lurches forward and bangs his head on the floor. It was a loud thud. He only fell about 6 inches, but still, it had to hurt and of course - he's totally mad again. Real mad.

He finally goes down for another nap. I look in my purse for something and guess what I find. Yep - the immunization records. Dang it. (I mean, Damn it.)

Oh my Gosh! Sing it, Usher!
